What does this camp entail?

We highly encourage your athlete to sign up at least for one of the three available sessions. We understand you have a busy summer schedule but find it important to create a community and culture built around strong athletes both physically and mentally.

Strength/Power/Speed/Agility

The training will consist of strength, power, speed, agility, mobility/flexibility and conditioning. The focus will be on having efficient, robust, and healthy athletes throughout the season. Strength and power exercises will be done to complement and increase power, to teach loading and bending for athletic position, and to be able to absorb force for regardless of the position they play on the court. Overall athleticism off the court transfers to volleyball specific skills on the court. If girls have any ailments, injuries or discomfort, exercises can be modified. The goal will be to strengthen the body holistically so that they are in good health to compete all season.

Mental Performance

Just as physical performance is trained, the mind must be trained as well as it plays a vital role in sport. The ability to think critically, regulate emotions, and compete effectively are all essential components of volleyball. As a team sport, athletes are not only responsible for themselves, but also for supporting, encouraging, and being mindful of how their actions impact the group as a whole.

During the mental training portion of these camps, the goal is to develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, focus, competitiveness, and the ability to perform collectively as a team.

Being a resilient athlete doesn’t always mean pushing through discomfort—it means knowing when and how to cope. We aim to create an environment where our girls can compete and have fun while doing so!
