ATHLETIC COMPLAINT PROCESS
PUBLIC CONCERNS AND COMPLAINTS REGARDING ATHLETICS

Constructive Criticism motivated by a sincere desire to improve the quality of the athletic program is welcomed by the Board of Education.

Important Note Regarding Summer Participation/Conditioning/Workouts:
Summer participation, including conditioning and workouts, does not require an athlete to be registered or to have a current physical on file. These activities are not considered “in-season,” and therefore all participation is considered voluntary per CHSAA and district guidelines.

However, if your athlete plans to participate in a fall sport, please be sure to complete a registration.  Registration opens July 1!  Be sure to register well in advance of the sport’s official start date (see below). Failure to do so may result in delays in clearance and could impact your athlete’s ability to participate on the first day of practice/tryouts.

The official start of the fall sports season is:

Aug. 3 – boys golf

Aug. 10 – for boys soccer, boys tennis, cross country, field hockey, flag football, football, girls volleyball, gymnastics, softball, and spirit (cheer & poms).
